Check the density of keywords on the page. There are many free online tools to check keyword density. The density of a keyword on your page must be between 5% and 15%. If the density is higher than that you are taking risk and can be penalized by the search engine.
2. Write a Search engine friendly Title:
Title tag is the text that will appear in the title bar of a web browser when someone visits your page. When the search engine spiders crawl you page the first thing read by them is your page title, so this is key factor of SEO. Your title should consist of keywords, a tag line and your company name.
3. Design a visitor friendly site:
Remember search engines like what is understandable for humans. So keep your site as human friendly as possible keeping in mind the search engine ethics like avoid using frames, flash and javascript and you will surely gain in SERP’s. Be sure to use ALT tags for all your photos as SE cannot read images ;-).
4. Keep your content unique (don’t copy it from other’s page):
Don’t copy and paste this article in your blog or site this is considered as duplicate content and search engines have a way to decide which the original content is.
It is fine to use a part of them, but it must contain unique content that is not found anywhere on the web.
5. Quality Backlinks:
Backlink’s always played a major role in SEO. Links backs from quality website help you gain reputation from search engines. Make sure to you use keywords as your anchor text in the text of the link.
